The journey of AECS is rooted in decades of research-driven collaboration and hands-on industry experience within the rubber and tyre ecosystem. In 1999, a strategic partnership was established with the Rubber Board in association with ASM, marking the beginning of structured involvement in rubber research and development. This early collaboration focused on understanding rubber cultivation, material behaviour, and performance characteristics essential to tyre and industrial rubber applications.
Building upon this foundation, a dedicated research initiative was launched in 2004, during which rubber trees were planted under the Rubber Board’s guidance as part of a long-term research program. This phase was further strengthened by the participation of three scientists from ARDL (Akron Rubber Development Laboratory), whose international expertise introduced advanced research methodologies and global best practices into the program. As the research activities evolved, the focus expanded toward tyre performance evaluation and validation. From the 2010s onward, advanced tyre testing machines supplied by Poling Group were introduced, enabling accurate assessment of durability, endurance, uniformity, force and moment, and other critical performance parameters. These systems played a key role in strengthening our team's testing capabilities and aligning them with global standards.
With nearly two decades of accumulated research, testing experience, and technical expertise, AECS was formally established in 2017 as an independent organization. Following its establishment, AECS achieved ISO accreditation, reinforcing its commitment to quality, reliability, and compliance with international standards. Today, AECS acts as the authorized agent for Poling Group in India, representing and supporting advanced tyre testing machines for manufacturers and research organizations across the country. In parallel, AECS is actively involved in government contract projects, including the design and execution of industrial fenders, delivering solutions that meet stringent regulatory and performance requirements.
In addition to testing and equipment representation, AECS provides specialized design and engineering services, with a strong focus on CAD-based solutions for the tyre industry, while also extending design support to other industrial sectors. Through a combination of research heritage, certified processes, global partnerships, and engineering capabilities, AECS continues to deliver dependable, technically sound solutions to the rubber and industrial engineering domains.
